Russell Publishing has the ability to offer students and graduates a variety of work experience opportunities to support the learning and development of individuals looking to start their career within media. Work experience can be a valuable learning opportunity to gain insight into an industry, the roles and functions within a business and gain an understanding of a real life workplace.
The placement will consist of the ability to meet with the team across the business, gain knowledge and an overview of the business operations and collaboration of the teams within it. You will be able work side by side with your mentor who will show you the day to day activities within their role and also have the opportunity to undertake your own work – essentially you would be welcomed as a member of the team and guided through an induction programme similar to that of a fully-fledged new starter.
You must meet the following criteria to be eligible for a placement at Russell Publishing:
- You must not have carried out a work experience placement with us, in any department, within the last 12 months
- You must have the right to work and train in the UK. It is your responsibility to check whether this is the case and we’re afraid that we’re unable to sponsor applicants for work experience
- Due to the nature of our location, applicants will require their own vehicle to travel to work
If you would like to discuss our opportunities further please contact Nicola Gilmore, email@example.com.
