Job Vacancy: Delegate Sales Executive

Russell Publishing is currently looking for an experienced Sales Executive to join its Delegate Sales team.

The role is to work within a Delegate Sales department to generate sales and delegate bookings for Russell Publishing B2B events through cold-calling, following up in-coming leads and generating interest and awareness through networking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pro-actively and enthusiastically develop new business through telephone calls and other media tools.
  • Identify and develop relationships with potential new clients through research.
  • Follow up on marketing efforts to convert prospects into attendees.
  • Attendance at relevant exhibitions/ conferences with the possibility of international travel.

Key Skills/Requirements:

  • Proven sales experience, ideally within events/ media sector.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Resilient and able to thrive in a pressured environment.
  • A quick learner with the intellectual curiosity to comprehend different markets and subject matter.
