Summary:
Russell Publishing is currently looking for an experienced Sales Executive to join its Delegate Sales team.
The role is to work within a Delegate Sales department to generate sales and delegate bookings for Russell Publishing B2B events through cold-calling, following up in-coming leads and generating interest and awareness through networking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pro-actively and enthusiastically develop new business through telephone calls and other media tools.
- Identify and develop relationships with potential new clients through research.
- Follow up on marketing efforts to convert prospects into attendees.
- Attendance at relevant exhibitions/ conferences with the possibility of international travel.
Key Skills/Requirements:
- Proven sales experience, ideally within events/ media sector.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Resilient and able to thrive in a pressured environment.
- A quick learner with the intellectual curiosity to comprehend different markets and subject matter.
